Restoration Ministries: A Legacy of Hope

At the heart of our community efforts is Restoration Ministries, a Christian-based organization in Harvey, IL, that Ronnie Colosimo helped found in 1988. What started as a mission to help men struggling with addiction has grown into a beacon of hope for at-risk youth, families, and seniors.

In 2025, we were proud to support Restoration Ministries as they served more than 3,000 people through 26 different programs.

• Harvey House & Tabitha House: These 18-month residential training programs provided a safe haven and a fresh start for men and women overcoming addiction.
• Food Pantry: We helped put food on the table for 80 to 120 families every single week.
• The Christmas Toy Store: To ensure every child felt the magic of the holidays, this initiative made thousands of toys available to low-income families for just $1 to $5.

Investing in the Next Generation

Ronnie Colosimo, a father of four and grandfather of ten, believes that every child deserves the tools to succeed, regardless of their socioeconomic status. This belief drove our heavy involvement in youth programs throughout 2025.

Through our partnership with Restoration Ministries, we supported the Sullivan Arts Center, offering high-quality visual and performing arts classes to children who might not otherwise have access to them. We also cheered on the young athletes at the Harvey Boxing Club, giving boys and girls a constructive outlet to build discipline and confidence.

Beyond the arts and sports, we focused on education with after-school tutoring and the “Bread for the Head” reading program. We also ensured that local kids stayed nourished through the Kids Cafe, which provides free, nutritious meals to children every day after school.

Supporting Our Heroes and Neighbors

Our commitment to Oak Lawn extends to the brave men and women who serve our country. This past summer, Oak Lawn Toyota hosted our annual BBQ fundraiser for the USO of Illinois. It was a highlight of the year, bringing together local dealers and the community to raise money and awareness for our troops. We were thrilled to see local news stations like ABC7 and WGN-TV cover the event, showcasing the generosity of Oak Lawn residents.

We also continued our close relationship with Advocate Christ Medical Center, Advocate Children’s Hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House. Knowing that families facing medical hardships need more than just medical care, we strove to provide support and comfort to those navigating difficult times.
